Jessica was born and raised in Houston but has lived in Austin since 2004. She received her bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. She has proudly practiced criminal defense since 2011 and started her solo practice in 2016. She represents defendants from all walks of life.

Jessica takes the “counselor” part of “attorney and counselor at law” seriously and loves helping her clients find a better path forward. She especially enjoys representing the youngest defendants ensnared in the adult criminal justice system and works within the Travis County Transformative Youth Justice diversion program. She is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and a board member of the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Outside of fighting for justice, Jessica enjoys strength training, reading, and traveling.
